Sweet and sugary foods will give the same effect as the banana for a short while, as they will give the body an energy boost also, but this boost is usually followed by a lethargic lull, leaving the body craving sugar once again. This is how people become chocoholics, because of the feel good factor it gives them, when something makes you feel so good it is hard to believe it is bad for you, but any educated person knows it is.

It is a well known fact that the earlier children learn something the more likely they are to retain the information and use it, even if it be at a later date, that is why we have developed our food energy tour for keystage 1/2 children and made it fun and interesting through the medium of magic. This way the children take in an important message whilst having fun at the same time.
